The Baby Boom was the result of a glorious time.  All of the soldiers that came home from World War II got married and had children. The consequence of their action is what created the Baby Boom generation.The impact that the Baby Boomers had  increased the the population of America and increased businesses.

            During the 1940's and 1950's is when people came home from the war and moved to the suburbs and  had children or they went to collage. The people that started the Baby Boomer's  reshaped the United States. The G.I. Bill helped soldiers that came back from  the war with schooling, and jobs. Veterans Administration helped by,helping soldiers by buying a house. It would be for a lower price then usual. There were more schools getting built. People from the city moved to the suburbs for more land so there were construction jobs. It started creating towns and farms. Since more and more people were moving to the suburbs more houses went up to buy. There were so many kids that in a neighborhood there is no way your kid could not have any neighborhood friends. There were more schools so, they would need  more teachers, janitors, principles, and security guards. Electronics was spilling out with new stuff. Like televisions, radio,and microwaves.

            The economics results  of the Baby Boomers' generation were awesome!It was the time when people didn't have to worry about the economy or social events that was  happening in the U.S. and Social Security was great. It helped the people get more money when people retired. The only problem with that is that the people from the Baby Boomer's were sucking up Social Security. At least the Medicare(health insurance) gives the people from the Baby Boomer's generation a average of 90 on there life span.

           As you can see the impact of the Baby Boomer's generation was great. It did good for the economic needs, educational needs, and health care. The bad part of it is, that the people from the Baby Boomer's generation is sucking up Social Security. The impact the Baby Boomer's generation gave us was good and bad, changing the  shape of America.
